I can't say enough about how much we like this great scanner. We had a big, stupid mistake however when we arrived and it was getting much harder set than is actually. We read all the things that came with it and everything online, etc.. all you have to do is plug it in, set the antenna and enter your postal code infollow the instructions on the screen.

This is a nice small scanner. would have rated it a 5 out of 5 but I really felt that should have came with a programming cable. I hate paying extra for something that should be a factory accessory included. same thing with AC/DC not being a factory accessory. that is my only complaint about the unit. performs very well with the rubber duck antenna but it really works nice with an external scanner antenna to thirty-five feet off the ground.

This works! I used to connect a dvd recorder/player to my tv. Photo passes through the transparent Crystal. before I bought this, I was using an old VCR to do the same thing and distorted the image.
